This is a special 4th moon because of the leap year. Seasons usually only have 3 moons each, but in order to account for the in-exact nature of any calendar, the periodic leap year necessitates additional moons which are assigned to the different seasons in reverse order. That is, next year the extra moon will be in Winter and then in Fall and so on.
